Biography
Graduated from the Vilnius Institute of Fine Arts in 1973, and has lived in Poland since 1980. Painter, graphic artist and illustrator. He creates posters, illustrations for books (especially children's fairy tales), ex-librises, set designs, installations and spatial compositions, masks, paratheatrical actions. His figurative art is characterized by an atmosphere of surrealism with touches of irony and the grotesque. He uses various techniques: gouache, oil, pastels, and employs a variety of graphic techniques.
