Painter. As a nineteen-year-old, he began his studies at the School of Art Industry in Cracow. In 1945, the artist was admitted to the second year of the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He was a student of Ignacy Pienkowski and Eugeniusz Eibisch, among others. At the Faculty of Painting of the Krakow Academy he met his wife Janina. In their work one can find inspiration in colorism, French impressionism and post-impressionism. He painted portraits of, among others, his own children, urban landscapes of Cracow and rural studies of nature from the Foothills, the area around Kasinka, Lanckorona, Limanowa, where he went with his family on vacation. In 2005, an exhibition of works by the artist and his wife was held at the Archdiocesan Museum in Cracow.
