Draughtsman, graphic artist, poster designer, associated with the Silesian art community. From 1963 to 1968, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow at the Department of Graphic Design in Katowice, receiving his diploma in the Graphic Design studio under Prof. Tadeusz Grabowski. From 1973 he was a teacher at the Katowice branch of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, now the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. The artist was involved in graphic design, satirical drawing, book, press and art graphics. He designed more than 50 covers for "Szpilek", "Ty i Ja" and "Playboy", designed more than 200 posters, made about 60 graphics in relief and serigraphy, and 1000 satirical drawings. He received about 80 awards, including a gold medal at the Polish Poster Biennale, a silver medal at the "Intergraphic" International Graphics Exhibition in Berlin. He has had more than 50 solo exhibitions at home and abroad.
