Born September 9, 1931 in Katowice, died 2013 in Warsaw. Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Since 1987, a professor at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznan. He is a graphic painter, but mainly deals with posters. In 1960 and 1961 he won the Toulouse-Lautrec prize at the International Film Poster Festival in Versailles. One of the pillars of the world-famous Polish School of Poster Design.
