Born in 1964, contemporary sculptor, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he received his diploma in the studio of Prof. Stanislaw Slonina. In 1991, in the Zdzislaw Czermanski Diploma Competition, he received an honorary diploma for the best diploma work at the Academy of Fine Arts. In his artistic work, Szczepaniec returns to his roots and a number of his works present religious themes - he designs and creates religious objects, monuments, busts, as well as statues. Another area of the artist's passion are works relating to musical themes and sculptures depicting nature - figures playing instruments or climbing vegetation are segments in which Szczepaniec has perfected in depicting.
