add Your note
Lot description Show orginal version
Height 57 cm

57x25x16cm

Themes and materials related to the sea often appear in Artur Szyngwelski's work.
Starting with the presence of amber in the objects he creates: knives, jewelry, the Ark
of the Covenant created jointly with Tomasz Oldziejewski, and the steel extracted from the Baltic sand
Baltic sand, which was used to create Neptune's trident.
The "Meeting of Heaven and Sea" series includes installations showing the author's idea of what the
the penetration of cosmic materials into the earthly universe could look like.
Hence the use of titanium, a metal associated with the cosmos. The earthly environment, on the other hand, is represented by:
wood discarded by the Baltic Sea on beaches and steel elements of shipwrecks.
