The sculpture is of high, artistic quality. The female saint is represented with grace and charm. The St. Barbara, recognizable by the tower as her attribute, stands in a light, mirrored S-swing with the weight on her left leg. The hip is curved to the left, the upper body to the right, the head, on the other hand, is turned to the left and slightly inclined. In her right hand she holds the tower, the left hand shows with the palm of your hand forward. Her very finely designed face with a concrete long nose and high forehead shows a thoughtful, spiritual expression. On her head she carries a high crown with stylized lily flowers over the veil. The veil is pushed backwards and lets your wall -based hair falling on the back. The red robe closes an agraffe on the chest. The golden veil with blue feed falls on the side in cascade folds. The wrinkle motif is repeated by the coat on the side and the slim figure frames. In front of the hip, voluminous bowl folds forms over the forearms, the main motif of the wrinkle composition. The beauty of the composition unfolds in the front view. You can assume that it was designed for a shrine or a niche. Stylistically, the figure can be assigned to the late beautiful style. Bohemia or Salzburg, which received artistic suggestions from Bohemia, come into question as origin. The beautiful style is one of the most important artistic achievements of the Bohemian Middle Ages and spread across Europe.
