wood, traces of polychrome, height 27 cm;
sculpture in attached display case, 40.5 x 29 cm.
Western Europe, 15th/16th c. The emaciated body of Christ, the somewhat schematically marked ribs on the naked torso and the perisonium in the form of a simple band allow us to find in the sculpture echoes of the Romanesque style or a certain provinciality of the workshop.
The left hand is missing.
