Ernest SEGER

1868 Nowa Ruda - 1939 Berlin

German sculptor. From 1884 to 1886 he studied at the Breslau Kunstschule with R. Haertl, then with Chr. Behrens in the studio at the Breslau Museum. From 1893 to 1894 he studied in Paris with A. Rodin. From 1895 he settled in Berlin. In 1908 he became a professor at the Berlin Academy. His works are in numerous museums (Berlin, Leipzig, Munich, Stuttgart), as well as in private collections.
