In 1985 he founded the Island Gallery. Today Klaman runs the Intermedia Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and remains an active animator of artistic life. Through his art, he participates in the debate on modernity. He is passionate about the subject of the ambiguity of culture, its entanglement in the mechanisms of power.
