Sculptor associated with the Katowice art community. From 1968-1974 he studied at the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Prof. Jerzy Bandura, receiving his diploma in 1974 . Since 1982 he has led the Sculpture Studio in the Department of Industrial Design in Katowice. He has participated in numerous sculpture exhibitions at home (Warsaw, Katowice, Krakow), and abroad, including the 4th and 7th International Biennials "Sport in Fine Arts" in Madrid in 1973 and Barcelona in 1979, "Printemps Culturel Du Valenciennois" in France in 1988, the Jubilee Exhibition Sweden - Ronneby in 1995. The artist's works are in the collections of the Museum of Sport and Tourism in Warsaw and the Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom.
