In 1973 he graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Kielce with a specialization in sculpture.
In 1982, he received a master's degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, in the sculpture studio of Barbara Bieniulis-Strynkiewicz.
He works in a variety of materials, from stone in bronze, wood, Corten metal, stainless steel , monumental projects with realization outside Poland.

In 1995. Distinction in the competition for the design of the War Cemeteries in Katyn, Kharkov, Miednoye.
In 2000 3rd prize in the competition for the design of the sculpture-logo of the Stock Exchange Center in Warsaw.
In 2010 First prize in the competition for the design of the Commemoration of the Victims of the Smolensk Air Crash near Smolensk on 10.04.2010 at Warsaw Powazki, together with arch. Piotr Klecan
In 2011 Third prize in the competition for the design of the monument commemorating the Lvov Professors in Lviv, together with arch. Piotr Klecan
