Alexandre Joseph Sosnowsky (born 1937, died December 3, 2013) is a French sculptor and painter. Working most of the time in Nice, Sosnowsky has gained international recognition in recent decades with monumental outdoor sculptures on the Côte d'Azur in France. Along with Yves Klein, Arman and Cesar, he was part of the New Realist movement (Nouveau réalisme). Sosno had a particular artistic approach: the concept of annihilation. His sculptures are masked by empty or full space, inviting the viewer to use his own imagination.
