Born in Elk. From 1978 to 1980 ,he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan. In 1980 he began an apprenticeship at "Hermann Noack Bildgiesserei" in West Berlin - a renowned sculpture foundry. For three years there he perfected the technique of casting on lost wax . During this time ,sculptures by artists such as Henry Moore, Kenneth Armitage were realized there . During hisapprenticeship, he began studying at the Hochshule der Kunste, an art academy in Berlin, and returned to Wroclaw in 1986. In 1990, together with a group of Wroclaw artists, he exhibited his works at the Cannden Art Center in London. His sculptures are known in England, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, France in Germany.
