Biography
Performer, sculptor, author of installations. An important element of her performative activities is nature and ecology. After a year of art history at the Lublin Catholic University, in 1970 she moved to the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, from which she graduated under Prof. Jan Tarasin and Tadeusz Dominik. In 2005, she received the Katarzyna Kobro Award. The artist cooperates with groups of young people in some ecologically oriented "sowings" and other projects. "Sowings" took place, among others, on a green belt near Warsaw's National Library - the artist sowed grain near a streetcar stop, performing her selfless gesture basically without an audience.
