Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Faculty of Sculpture, 1963-1969, graduating in 1969 with honors from Prof. Jerzy Bandura. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, led the Studio of Stone Sculpture at the Faculty of Sculpture. His works are in museum and private collections. His achievements include medallic and monumental realizations, including the monument to General Władysław Sikorski in Rzeszów. He has participated in many sculpture competitions, receiving honors and awards, including: third prize in the national competition for the monument to Stanislaw Wyspianski in Krakow (1979), first prize ex aequo in the national competition for the monument to Wincenty Witos in Warsaw (1983), bronze medal at the Second Winter Salon of Sculpture in Warsaw (1987), first degree distinction in the national competition for the monument to Gen. Władysław Sikorski in Rzeszów (1988), 1st prize in a closed competition for a monument to Gen. Władysław Sikorski in Rzeszów (1988). Decorated with the Gold Cross of Merit, "Honoris Gratia" Badge, Medal of the Commission of National Education, Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
