Amélie Mauresmo - French tennis player, winner of the 2006 Australian Open and 2006 Wimbledon Grand Slam tournaments, No. 1 in women's tennis in the world in 2004 and 2006, Olympic vice-champion from Athens (2004) in singles, Federation Cup winner, member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. In March 2007, she was honored by the President of France with the title of Chevalier of the Order of the Legion of Honor, France's highest state decoration. In 2021, she became the first woman to be elected Grand Slam director of the French Open.
