Graduate of the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw at the department of graphic design in the studio of Jerzy Grabowski. Twice a scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2020 Ewa Cieniak received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage under the "Culture on the Web" program. Within its framework, she made an animated embroidered film entitled: "TABULA RASA". In 2021, she realized a scholarship project entitled: "Panorama of the town". It is a hand-embroidered fabric over 21 meters long and 1 meter wide, which is a collective portrait of the residents of Koluszki, the artist's hometown. Ewa Cieniak experiments with the use of various materials in her work. Her latest discovery is foil. "Permeation 2" is a work in which this material has been used by the Artist in a creative way.
