French 19th century jacquard in frame depicting a street scene- according to an oil painting by Maria Alfonso Perez (1853-1930).
On the back, the inscription "NAM GIVE." - a fragment of the maxim, which is made up entirely of the words on the back of the frames of all the 4 jacquards in the series on display, probably a kind of guideline in which order to hang them.
Jacquard signed, in the lower left corner initials "NF".
In the lower right corner the name: A. PEREZ.
Preservation condition of the object very good.
