Reserve brut is a delicate non-vintage champagne which gives a great idea of the style of this small producer (6 hectares).
Grapes come from parcels situated in well regarded communes of Epernay, Mareuil, Avenay, Festigny
The harvest is performed by hand and the vinification in non-interventional. As much as 1/4 of all wine is the leftover wine from previous vintages., which is matured in oak barrels. Moreover, malolactic transformation is preformed. both these treatments cause the wine to be gentle, soft and round.
Nontherless, this champagne keeps lots of freshness, not only due to great acidity but also very small dosage (3g/l)
Bouquet is quite wide: ranging from nutty flavors to rhubarb and plum buns. In the moth notes of fresh mirabelle plum and nuance of salty limestone. Elegant and well balanced.
