Attribution of this coin to the 4th unspecified oriental mint instead of Antiochia (as in RIC V.II) is based on the article by S. Estiot, "L’Empereur et l’usurpateur: un 4e atelier oriental sous Probus"; Studies in ancient coinage in honor of Anndrew Burnett, Spink, London, 2015.
Note: On this coin the cursive digamma (symbol of the 6th officina) looks almost like a latin "S", contrary to my coin no. 889 where the cursive digamma is struck completely differently
Almost full original silvering. Very rare in such an exceptional state of preservation.
