Works in painting, photography printmaking and also art conservation. In 1971 he graduated from the Faculty of Painting with a specialization in art conservation. He worked at his alma mater as a research and teaching employee. In 1993, he was awarded the title of faculty consultant. For the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, he developed a program for the conservation of wall paintings.
