Luiza Poreda (1980)
Warsaw-born painter and illustrator, graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at Warsaw University with a specialization in philosophy of art. For more than 20 years she has been involved in easel painting, drawing and illustration, as well as cultural animation.
Permanently cooperating with several Warsaw galleries, auction houses and cultural centers, she has so far participated in dozens of solo and group exhibitions throughout Poland, and enjoys participating in performance activities. Several times a year she conducts workshops on creating mandalas using Jungian methods and Surrealist automatic notation.
She refers to her drawings and paintings as inner emotional journeys, and her favorite subjects are mainly fauna, flora and mandalas. Luiza believes in the power of color and focuses strongly on it. She draws inspiration primarily from the world of her imagination, but also from contemporary psychedelic painting, surrealism, expressionism or Art Nouveau.
