Sylwester Piędziejewski
Works in painting, drawing, wall painting, conservation and restoration of polychromes of historic and contemporary objects.
He graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1994 he defended his diploma with distinction in the studio of Prof. Rajmund Ziemski and an annex on wall painting under the direction of Prof. Edward Tarkowski. Since 1997 he has been professionally associated with his alma mater. Author of numerous solo exhibitions and participant in group exhibitions in Poland and abroad (including Between the Walls, Plock, Plock Art Gallery, 2023; Color on a Hand, Warsaw, Boleslaw Biegas Museum, 2022; Layers, Warsaw, Activities Gallery, 2017; Wherever I Go, Lodz, ZPAP Gallery, 2012; Behind This Next Mountain, Tel Aviv, The Red House Gallery). Author of dozens of projects and overall realizations of mural painting decorations of public buildings in the country and abroad. Organizer of national and international meetings, plein-air events, lectures, lectures on issues of wall techniques and easel painting.
