Polska, po poł. XX w.
Głowa uczonej z włosami spiętymi w gładki koczek; na szyi koronkowy kołnierzyk. Z tyłu na szyi - sygnatura: „J. Markiewicz”. Cokół granitowy, czarny, polerowany, prostopadłościenny; od frontu kuty napis: „MARIA / SKŁODOWSKA / CURIE / 1867 - 1934”.
Józef Markiewicz - znany rzeźbiarz i medalier polski - był też utalentowanym poetą.
