Wlastimil HOFMAN (1881-1970)
Studiował w SSP w Krakowie w pracowni F. Cynka, J. Stanisławskiego, L. Wyczółkowskiego i J. Malczewskiego. W latach 1899-1902 studiował w Ecole des Beaux Arts w Paryżu u J.L. GeromeŐa. Był założycielem grup artystycznych: Grupa Pięciu (1905), Grupa Zero (1908). Od 1911 roku był członkiem Towarzystwa Artystów Polskich "Sztuka". Malował fantastyczno-symboliczne kompozycje z motywami ludowymi, sceny rodzajowe, portrety i pejzaże. Na jego sztukę ogromny wpływ wywarła twórczoć J. Malczewskiego.
