Józef MEHOFFER (1869-1946)
Studiował w SSP w Krakowie u J. Matejki, W. Łuszczkiewicza. W latach 1891-1896 w École Nationale des Beaux-Arts u L. Bonnata, w École Nationale des Arts Decoratifs i Académie Colarossi u G. Courtoisa i J. Blanca. Od 1905 roku był profesorem ASP w Krakowie. Był twórcą witraży kolegiaty św. Mikołaja we Fryburgu. Malował portrety, pejzaże, sceny rodzajowe, kwiaty, sceny symboliczne, polichromie, witraże. Projektował plakaty, tkaniny, meble, dekoracje teatralne, ilustracje.
