Woodcut (?) on ark. 11x8.7 cm. Don Quixote on a climbed horse. Composition by Leon Kowalski (autoexlibris) from before 1934, the same motif was used by the artist in his book "With Pen and Pen". Very good condition.
L. Kowalski (1870-1937) - painter and graphic artist, pupil of W. Łuszczkiewicz and L. Wyczółkowski at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, also studied in Munich and Paris, co-founder of the Zero Group, Native Art and the Cracow Graphic Artists Circle.
