Hand closed, brass binding, gilded. Sessile, triple-barreled hilt with whiskers. The rear arm of the hilt curls into a flat volute towards the head, the front arm, arched upwards, forms the main bail, connected to the headstock. Two side bows run in an arc on either side of the outer whisker and connect to the main bow at its top. The elliptical whiskers are sharply beveled, decorated with a floral motif. Long, reaching the hilt cap fixed from the top with a decorative rosette-shaped cap. At the bottom, together with the shaft in a hollow socket of the stag. The cap at the top carved in the shape of a shield decorated with an embossed crowned eagle on an amazon shield. Wooden shaft, diagonally notched, covered with black leather and laced with brass filigree. Steel, polished, nickel-plated, with moderate curvature. Profiled on both sides into a single medial furrow, reaching a short, double-edged feather with a bone. The neck is symmetrical. On the inner threshold a beaten signature "PACK-OHLINGER & Co/SOLINGEN". On the back a Gothic letter, the number "15" (year of production), the letter "W" (Wilhelm) topped with a crown. P o c h w a steel, polished, nickel-plated. Two riffles with movable collars on the back. Neck with collar fixed in the scabbard sheath by two screws. Massive spur, asymmetrical.
Handle from the 2nd half of the 20th century, the head from a Prussian artillery saber, model 1848, scabbard matched.
