Filip Gruszczyński was born on May 29, 1978 in Warsaw, Poland. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, receiving his diploma in 2004. From an early age, he was interested in drawing and painting, and throughout the years he developed and expanded his artistic passion. Since 2010. He participates in auctions of Young and New Art at auction houses Polswiss Art, Desa Unicum, Sopot Auction House, Rempex, Agra Art. In 2011, he participated in a multifaceted event organized by REMPEX auction house during the Night of Museums in Warsaw, and also presented his works at DORUMART Gallery. He had his individual exhibitions at the Bemowo Artbem Center (2009, 2010) Tamika Center (2012) and Agora (2017). In addition, in 2015 his works were included in the group exhibition "Japanese Inspirations" at the Embassy of Japan. In April 2019, he participated in the Barcelona Art Spring Show at the Art Nou Mil.lenni gallery. In May 2019, he presented his works at a solo exhibition during the Night of Museums at the Center for Promotion of Culture in Warsaw's Praga district. The exhibition was titled Endemic Size.In May 2023 a solo exhibition at the Nerlish gallery in Hamburg,an exhibition as part of the celebration of the "Night of Consulates in Hamburg "at the residence of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland.In June 2023 an exhibition at the De Weryha gallery in Hamburg.In June 2023 he participated in the 1st edition of ART SHOW at the Norblin factory in Warsaw.
His paintings are in many private collections in Poland and abroad: in Belgium, Germany, Japan, Spain, Sweden and South Africa.
Gruszczynski is defined as an artist full of passion and positive energy, influenced by the richness of culture, history, mythology and literature. His vast and astonishing imagination remains the main inspiration for his works.
