The estate of Mr. and Mrs. Mycielski in Wiśniowa nad Wisłokiem hosted a number of artists associated with Polish Colorism at plein-air meetings. In the thirties Jan Cybis, Hanna Rudzka-Cybisowa, Józef Czapski, Czesław Rzepiński, among others, visited there.
Polish painter associated with the current of colorism. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw under Milosz Kotarbinski, and from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Ignacy Pienkowski and Jozef Pankiewicz. It became part of the Paris Committee grouping, known as "KP" for short. - hence they were called Capists. Her artistic interests oscillated around the color experience of French Post-Impressionism.
