The painter spent the years 1924-30 in Paris. She beganher studies with the other members of the Paris Committee at the Paris branch of her alma mater, the Krakow academy, run by Pankiewicz. In addition to lessons in the history of painting taken in the galleries of the Louvre, painting copies of the old masters, Rubens, Veronese, Watteau, Fragonard and Corot, she went on plein air trips to the south of France and near Fontainebleau. In 1930 she took part in the first exhibition of the Capists at Galerie Zak in Paris, and in 1931 in a presentation of their works at Galerie Moos in Geneva .
