Studied at the Faculty of Painting of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Professor Grzegorz Bednarski and in the studio of Professor Leszek Misiak. She defended her diploma with an excellent grade in 2010. Her works have been presented at solo and group exhibitions including Galeria de Arte Montsequi, Madrid, (Spain), National Museum in Krakow, Platan Gallery, Budapest, (Hungary) and many others. Since 2014, Katarzyna Karpowicz has been listed among the top ten artists nominated in the Compass of Young Art. Katarzyna Karpowicz's paintings are in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Gdansk and many private collections at home and abroad. In 2019 she won the Anna Maria Siemieńska Grazella Foundation's creative scholarship for outstanding young artists.
