Painter associated with the artistic community of Krakow. In 1912-1914 and 1918-1920 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Jacek Malczewski. He traveled in Ukraine and Russia (1915-1918), went to France on a private scholarship in 1925 and to Italy on a government scholarship in 1926. He made trips to Austria and Yugoslavia. He was a member of the Jednoróg Artists' Guild. From 1950 he worked as an assistant professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He participated in exhibitions at the TPSP in Cracow, while being a member of Jednoróg he exhibited with the group in Warsaw, Cracow and Lvov. In 1928 he had a solo exhibition in Lviv.
