Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1912-1914, 1918-1920) in the studio of Jacek Malczewski. In 1925 he went on a private scholarship to France, and then on a government scholarship to Italy. He was a member of the Artists' Guild Jednoróg (1932-1934). He exhibited at the TPSP in Cracow and Lviv. Since 1950 he served as an assistant professor at his alma mater. The artist's works are in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw and Poznań, the L. Wyczółkowski Museum in Bydgoszcz and the District Museum in Lublin.
