Provenance: private collection Netherlands - the work was donated to the father of the present owner by Andrzej Banach from Cracow, who wrote several books on Nikifor Krynicki, thus contributing to the popularization of the self-taught painter from Krynica. Andrzej Banach's first article on Nikifor appeared in "Przekroj". June 19, 1949 Nikifor repeatedly visited the Banach couple in Cracow. On their initiative, there were exhibitions of Nikifor's works at home and abroad. Andrzej Banach wrote some books together with his wife Ella Banachowa. He lived in Cracow and published mostly in the Cracow Literary Publishing House.
Attached to the painting is a confirmation of authenticity issued by the Art-Konsultant Agency of Adam Konopacki.
