She graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (diploma in Tadeusz Dominik's studio in 1980). She has participated in many presentations of Polish contemporary art at home and abroad. Since the early 1990s she has been painting carpets, trying to render their texture, color and reflections of matter on canvas. Referring to the tenets of pop art, she gives the utilitarian object - the carpet - a higher artistic status. The works often have an atmosphere of Eastern art. She is an artist constantly searching for new subjects. The artist's big exhibition took place in Warsaw's Zachęta Gallery in 2000.
