In 1985-90 he studied at the Faculty of Graphic Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Since 1989, he has been working at his alma mater, and since 2005 he has also been running a drawing studio at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. From 2009 to 2016, he served as vice-rector for artistic, scientific and external cooperation affairs at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. On his initiative were created: Aspekt Gallery (2002-2007) and Salon Gallery of the Academy, which he has served as director since its inception in 2009. He is theauthor of numerous solo exhibitions and participant in national and international group exhibitions (including Gallery in Alten Rathaus, Musberk (1993), Kunst Biuro, Berlin (1999), Obrist Gallery, Essen (2000), GaleriaBiała in Lublin, Patricia & Philip Forst Art. Museum, FIU, Miami (2015), UP Gallery, Berlin (2016), Great Hall of the Academy of Fine Arts of Latvia, Riga (2023 ),Visum, Quarkhaus, Berlin (1990), Polish Sculpture Center, Orońsko (1994 ),Bergen Gallery of the National Academy of Fine (2010 ),UDK, Berlin (2015), Mark Rothko Museum, Daugvapils (2022) .Winner of awards and prizes, among others, EXIT Prize (2013), Cyprian Kamil Norwid Prize (2015). Awarded the bronze Medal for Merit to Culture Gloria Artis.
