Peter was born in 1968 in Brno. At an early age, his parents noticed and helped develop his talent for drawing and painting. In 1980, they decided to emigrate and arrived in Austria via Hungary and then Yugoslavia. They spent a year in Edlach/Reichenau an der Rax and later moved to Linz, where Peter finished elementary school and a technical school for graphic design. In 1988, he arrived in Vienna and began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prof. Arik Brauer's master class. During his studies, he participated in many group exhibitions and began to successfully sell his paintings. He completed his studies in 1993, receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree. In 2009, Peter moved from Vienna to Oberhöflein on the Hohe Wand plateau near the Eastern Alps.
In 2010. Gric participated in conceptual work for Guillermo del Toro's film project "At the Mountains of Madness."
From 2011 to 2015, he taught at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts.
His works are held by many private and public collections: Austrian Gallery Belvedere in Vienna, City Gallery in Traun/Austria, Künstlerhaus München/Germany, Art Visionary Collection in Melbourne/Australia, Collection Rardy van Soest in Houden/Dutch, Trierenberg Art in Traun/Austria, beinArt Collection/Australia, Westermann Collection/Germany.
