Painter, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studios of Axentowicz, Malczewski and Laszczka, soldier of the Legions. He traveled around Europe visiting Austria, Germany, Italy and France. He lived in Wiśnicz and Zakopane. In 1962 he settled permanently in Katowice. He was an outstanding portraitist, at first clearly inspired by the work of Axentowicz. He painted landscapes, still lifes and made religious compositions for churches.
