acrylic, cardboard, 69x98 cm, 2023
Artwork description:
The artist describes his process of creating the painting as follows:
"The painting is the product of a spontaneous freak of imagination. Sometimes once I prepare my palette for painting, I immediately start painting several pictures. I often paint with acrylic paints and always have a piece of cardboard with me on which I wipe my brushes. Sometimes I notice that from this wiping, random forms, spots are created, lines are inadvertently formed, and I don't know when, by the power of suggestion, this creature pulls me into another dimension. I stand in the middle of such a forest considering various scenarios. I am not always able to pour what I have in my mind onto cardboard, so I persist in the process. It is a pleasant "Golgotha". The persistence of inanimate objects knows no bounds. I, a living being, fight with the cardboard, with the paints. Slowly we move from struggle to dialogue and then even to harmony. Progress provides me with joy, I smile! Painting, creating is like being in the forest, because you never know what awaits you, what surprise you will meet, what or who is lurking behind the tree."
Framed painting.
