Biography
Franciszek Jaźwiecki, after his military service in the Legions, began his artistic studies, first at the Free School of Drawing and Painting in Cracow (1924-1927), and then at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts (1924-27) under F. Pautsch and T. Axentowicz. For a short time he was associated with the Cracow Group. He painted landscapes and architectural views with broad brush strokes of rich colors. He was also involved in printmaking.
