Biography
Graduated from the Industrial School in Cracow, and from 1899 to 1906 studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Konstanty Laszczka, Józef Unierzyski and Leon Wyczółkowski. After his studies, he made several artistic trips to Italy, where he visited Florence, Rome and Venice, among other places. A participant in the Legions; in 1919-28 he served in the Polish Army. He exhibited in Cracow, Ternopil, Lviv, Sosnowiec. Since 1933 he belonged to the Section of Legionary Artists in the Legionaries' Union in Cracow. In addition to Legion themes, he painted atmospheric landscapes with Italian motifs, views of architecture and flowers.
