Painter, sculptor and draughtsman, student of the School of Wood Industry in Zakopane and the State School of Arts and Industry in Cracow. He continued his studies in Vienna and at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts, including Laszczka, Axentowicz, Stanislawski and Wyczółkowski. Associated with Zakopane, he co-founded the Podhale Art Society. He practiced oil painting, made pastels, sculpted, designed kilims. The artist's works and creative output are permanently displayed in his family villa "Cicha" in Zakopane.
