Biography
The artist studied at the School of Drawing and Painting of A. Murashka in Kiev (1914-16), at the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts (1916-17) and at the School of K. Krzyzanowski in Warsaw (1921-23). He also studied in Paris with Olga Boznanska (1928-29). He practiced easel painting, in which he used oil and tempera techniques, and applied graphics. He focused primarily on figural compositions, nudes and portraits.
