Ewa Faryaszewska (born April 10, 1920 in Dąbrowa Górnicza, died August 28, 1944 in Warsaw) - Polish painter and photographer, corporal in the Home Army, author of color photographs from the Warsaw Uprising. She was born as the daughter of Irena (née Strokowska) and mining engineer Konstanty Faryaszewski - director of the "Flora" mine. In 1938, after the death of her father, she settled with her mother and siblings in Warsaw, where she began her studies at the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts. During the German occupation, she was active in the independence conspiracy. She was a liaison officer of the scout battalion "Wigry." During the Warsaw Uprising, she was active in the department responsible for saving national cultural monuments within the Old and New Towns, while documenting the destruction with her camera. She died as a result of wounds sustained in the uprising, on August 28, 1944
