German graphic artist, painter and illustrator; active in Breslau, created mainly views of cities including Breslau, Danzig, Hanover, Rome and Egypt. He was a pupil of Karl Köpping. He illustrated Hans Lutsch's fundamental inventory work "Bilderwerk schlesischer Kunstdenkmäler ". After leaving Breslau for Leipzig, he collaborated with the "Zeitschrift für bildende Kunst ".
