Graphic artist and illustrator, born in Przerzeczyn Zdrój (Bad Dirsdorf), died in Breslau. He graduated from high school in Reichenbach (Dzierżoniów). In the following years he learned the bookkeeping profession in Göttingen. He continued his studies at the Berlin academy under Karl Köpping. Commissioned by the museum in Breslau, he made drawings for Hans Lutsch's "Bilderwerk Schlesischer Kunstdenkmäler." In 1894 he settled in Breslau, where he was a professor at the academy there. He traveled throughout Europe and Germany and visited Egypt. The subjects of his works were urban views, including Breslau, Gdansk, Malbork, Königsberg, and landscapes from Egypt.
