Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Nicholas
Copernicus University in Torun, where in later years he was a lecturer in techniques of
painting and copying.
He painted mainly landscapes. From 1955 he exhibited prints, drawings,
watercolors, tempera and oil paintings at numerous exhibitions For many years he lived in
in Kazimierz Dolny where he moved from Warsaw.
He was a member of the Kazimierska Konfraternia Sztuki. To his credit, he had more than 80
individual exhibitions and dozens of group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He was
the recipient of many awards and prizes and his works are in the collections of
museums and private collections. He was a member of the British and Royal Academy of Watercolors.
