Graphic artist, painter, educator, associated with the Silesian artistic community. He studied in Lviv, Prague and graphic arts with W. Skoczylas at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. From graphic techniques he practiced woodcut, from painting techniques he practiced watercolor. His watercolor paintings, mostly winter landscapes from the area of Cieszyn Silesia, the Beskids and the Tatra Mountains, are characterized by an excellent mastery of the technique, a luminous color palette, and skillful use of white.
